If we had to find three words to define this project they would be: elegance, style and functionality. This reform is undoubtedly one of the most special and ambitious we have done so far. Why? Mainly, because of how outdated the house was in its original state, the stagnation of its spaces and the absence of open spaces for social and family life. From the beginning we decided to create a large, modern space with open areas where we could share moments. Undoubtedly, this reform was one of those challenges that we love to receive in Studio by Clikalia.
You only have to look at the before and after to see the metamorphosis. Now this apartment of 125 square meters, located in one of the most exclusive neighborhoods of Madrid, makes the most of each of its spaces, embraces the light and is a waste of style and elegance. In addition, it has some very special details that make it truly unique.
One of the most remarkable is the transformation of the typical infinite corridor, for a cozy path that invites you to enter and to which we added very sophisticated decorative elements, such as the reconstituted walnut wood wall that runs from beginning to end, and some beautiful indirect light fixtures that bring warmth to the whole house.
The living-dining room, the most social area of the house, has two clearly differentiated environments. On the one hand, the large dining table and, on the other, a living room area. living room with two shelves to place small decorative details and pictures. To this multifunctional space is added an access to a semi-independent kitchen from the rest of the living-dining room that has a stylish and light glass partition and beautiful navy blue furniture that creates a contrast that brings a touch of freshness to the whole house.
The master bedroom of the house has, as it could not be less, an en suite bathroom with black ceramic sink on an oak countertop. A real luxury. In addition to the very large master bedroom, the house consists of a separate bathroom with suspended sink, a single room that can be used perfectly as an office and another large double bedroom in which you can place a small office space if desired.
